Background Information

Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Drs. Beatty, Carey, and Jones manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Drs. Beatty, Carey, and Jones practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to jaw reconstructive surgery. They can also diagnose and treat facial injuries, and fractures. They can provide these procedures with patient comfort in mind, as a wide range of anesthesia options are available.

Our staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation or outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.

Surgical Staff

The surgical staff at Sandhills Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery consists of experienced oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants and registered nurses, trained to assist in the administration of IV Sedation. Our administrative staff are well-versed in health and insurance policies, and all our staff are CPR certified.
